What is shifting in your thinking?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 26, 2007:

I'm having a hard time getting a beat on the 2008 presidential elections. I'm done with the frontrunners in both parties. They represent only more of the same delusion, denial, and empiracal policies we have now.

Hillary just represents Bush Clinton Bush Clinton to me. I want to like Obama, but so far I've seen more style than substance. Guiliani must not be our next president! Romney? Please. I might have voted for John McCain four years ago and then he sold himself to the establishment. Huckabee is the John Dean of this cycle.

I'm looking at Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich as possible alternatives. There are attractive and unattractive aspects of both candidates, but at least they are speaking some truth. They seem willing to shake up a system in desperate need of shaking.

Right now I'm considering the options and shifting day to day.

I hope you'll consider me, a fellow Zaadzster, who is also running for the presidency in 2008. I am the only candidate running on the basis of a written contract to the voters, the inspiration for which is the content of my Zaadz blogs (to the tune of 350 pages). I know that people want to believe in Obama, Paul, and Kucinich. However, none of these fine individuals is advocating as I am: The only way to effect real, deep down change in this country is for We-the-People to elect independents to the Congress, throwing out each and every single Democrat and Republican. But no, these three will try to make the system (read: Two Party System) work. And we're way past that  being possible.

I hope you have some time to review my campaign positions and, more importantly, my overall stragegy for implementing reform.

I bill myself as the last, best hope for the harried American voter.

My party I refer to as The Best Party Available.

Sincerely,

Steven Searle
